This week we had lots of fun with NYCOS, we learned all about rhythm using a parachute! We had to move the parachute up and down following the rhythm of a song and then move places if our number was called out. It was really helpful having a fun way to remember what the words rhythm and beat mean!
We had fun experimenting with musical instruments.
This week we have worked hard to learn a new song and create lyrics to go along with it. We decided to give Aiken Drum some new ‘healthy’ clothes to go along with our ‘Being Healthy’ topic. We hope you enjoy our performance.
In Music we have been learning to put a Scottish poem into a rap. We had to sing it and circle the words we had to make louder. The poem we chose was Adress to the Haggis.
Oliver has been coming into our class for the past 5 weeks to teach us how to play the ukulele. We have learnt the chords for F, C, Am and some others. We can play tunes such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Evertying is Awsome, The biscuit song, We Like to Move it Move it and many more!
