Welcome to P6b’s Class Page.
We are settling in nicely to Primary 6, and are rising to the challenges we have already encountered, showing great enthusiasm and lots of fantastic ideas!
This term we are studying the novel, ‘Wonder’, which explores many themes relevant to children of our age. We will also be learning about Natural Disasters, Earth and Space, using Money in real-life contexts, using colour and contrast in Art, and lots of other things. We will continue with French and Spanish too. We will also be preparing for our Class Assembly, which will be on Friday 29th September.
In our learning we will be referring to Bloom’s Taxonomy, which encourages different types of thinking skills.
We have P.E. every Monday and Tuesday.
Homework will go home on Tuesdays to be handed back in on the following Monday.
Please feel free to send a water bottle in with your child – juice is not permitted in the classroom.
For more information about what we are learning, please follow our class blog – just click on P6b in the Category section on the right hand side of this page.
If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the school office and make an appointment to see Mrs. Deponio.
